2004 Audi A4 Oil sensor light

I just had the oil pump replaced yesterday. However, now the oil sensor light has come on. I saw that this light means the oil pressure is low. Could this be related to the oil pump repairs?

was it good right after pump was replaced?

oil pump sensor hooked up properly?

use a mechanical guage and check the pressure and compare it to specs. should be atleast 10psi per 1000 engine rpm.
