2002 Audi A4 Low oil pressure light

I just bought this car this morning. The engine oil pressure light came on and the engine now sounds like the valves are ticking. The oil looks new and is full.

What should I do ?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge,if normal replace the oil pressure switch.If abnormal could mean oil pump and/or engine bearing.
