I have a 2002 AUDI A4 1.8T. When driving back home, the car suddeny started shaking. When the road side assistance arrived, they said one of the cylinder was not working correctly and I had to get it fixed. What could be causing this to happen? How much do you think it will cost to fix? Thanks

it is probably one of the ignition coils which sit on top of spark plugs breaking down .. a simple test is with the engine running .. pull off each plug coil/wire in turn (off then replace) the engine should die if the coil is good .. if the engine carries on running when you pull one off then that is the bad one .. a little tip is to pull them off with a pair of pliars so you don't get a shock .. I tend to find once you replace one .. then they all start going bad in turn so it is sometimes better to replace all together ?
