I got back from a long weekend and the battery was dead. I jumped the car and the alarm was going off, as well as the flashers. I was able to stop all of these problems but the check engine light remained on.
After running the car for a while, turning off and
turning back on, I left it sitting for 3 hours. It is
dead again. All the engine lights went on but
it did not turn over. Is this an alternator issue or a
battery issue?

Hi there,

The battery will need a good long charge, over night on a bench charger, then a load test, if OK check the alternator charge rate, start here.
