2001 Audi A4 wipers

the wipers on this car work for about 5 swipes then stop at any given spot on the windshield, we have replaced the wiper motor and transmission, but cant figure out what to do next

Ok after looking over the wiper wiring diagram for your car it seems that the wiper washer intermittent relay is in control of the wiper motor. So with that I would say that your problem is there. It is located on the micro central electric as Audi calls it. Here is a pic of the it and what relay is what they are relay 5 and 6. Let me know how ti goes.
