the car makes increasingly loud noise when turning the steering wheel.
noise comes from engine area, is especially loud when car is standing still or going very slowly (parking).
what could be the problem?

Hi jomi33,

Depends on what type of noise.

Screeching noise is due to loose pump belt.

Vibration noise is due to pressure caused by the high pressure hose, relief valve, pump or lack of power steering fluid.

Squeaking noie is probably caused by dry ball joints.
