Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1999 Audi A4 All Wheel Drive

if my release bearing and release lever are bad to i need to consider changing the whole clutch assmbly since ill have the tranny out anyway

Hi vaporousmist,

A visual check and measurement is the best gauge to determine the condition of the clutch disc and pressure plate to warrant replacement or not.

Since the trans is out, removing the clutch assy won't take much extra time.
