I have the non-bose system in my audi a4 quattro. I'm replacing all of the speakers with some relatively in-expensive pioneer units. I already have an Alpine headunit installed (CDA-9831) The rear driver side speaker had a built in amplifier (which I didn't know at the time) and I cut the harness off of; I don't have it anymore. I do plan to replace the amp with an aftermarket 4 channel stereo amp tho. I need to know the wiring colors for the speakers, which go where, and if just hardwiring everything straight from the headunit would be a better choice. THANKS A LOT THIS HAS BEEN KILLING ME!

Just to let you know I do not believe in cutting and hard wiring that is what sterio harness adapters are for. As for the speaker wire colors here they are (all colors are at the speakers) RT front is + Green and - green with a yellow stripe. Lt front is + grean and - is green with yellw stripe. Now the rt front + is red with a gray stripe till it gets to the speaker and the - is brown with a gray stripe till ti gets to the speaker.
Rt rear is contoled through a sub woofer manager and so it is not easy to do this but the rt is red with green stripe for the + and the - is brown with a black stipe. Lt rear is blue with red stripe for the + and the blue with red stripe seems to be the -. Very hard as this side is also the sub woofer manager. I hope this helps.

The last post helped a lot, thanks! Now i'm going another route. The TPs Sensor on the a4, is that located within the throttle body? If I needed to replace the TPS, would I have to replace the entire throttle body? I'm prepared to and have done it before but just wondering the locationg of that tps.

I am sorry that is the only pic that they even give. It is on the intake under the throttle body. So it sounds like you will be taking the throttle body off to get to it. Hope this helps.
