HI i have an 1998 audi a4 2.8 v6 and when i first bought the car it had 132,000 kms on it after a week the transmission started acting up like it was reving not shifting properly and also the tip tonic was starting to melfunction.

so i got the gasket and transmission fluid replaced (syntetic) it was dirty and now the automatic transmission is workin alright but early in the morning revs in first gear till it warms up for like 10 seconds and works properly after =/ but the TIPTONIC mode does not work when its engeaged from DRIVE mode when it is engadeg to triptonic it just goes on normal drive mode any clue?

IF YOUR CAR WONT SHIFT IN TO TIP MODE . IT MIGHT BE THE CIRCET BORD UNDER THE SHIFT LEVER SHROUD, THEY SOME TIMES CRACK THE SOILDER JOINTS AS MINE DID, MINE NOW WORKS FINE AFTER FIXING, I HOPE THIS HELPS.
