I smell anitfreeze inside my car, but there is no leak that I can see. The coolant is clear and full. Also, the oil temp gauge is running at 350 deg. but the water temp is normal. I have a light on below my mileage that says oil, and my heat does not work.

Hi there,

one problem at a time i think, with the coolant smell in the car, this would suggest a minor leak in the heater system, i would start off with getting a pressure done to check the condition of the cooling system, when was the oil changed last? i am not that sure what that light refers to, do you have an owners manual, it will be in there.

I found out where the antifreeze smell is coming from. The oil is clean and full. The gauge is an oil temp guage and it is running at 350 deg. The motor is not hot, so I am hoping that it is a relay or a sender unit. I also found out that either my heater core has gone out or the blend door is stuck, because my heater is not working. I am just not sure what else could cause the oil temp to get that hot.
