1996 Audi A4 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

hi i have a ittermitant fault the car cuts out when idleing somtimes but jerks like it wants to cutout when driving i had a mercanic out 3times first he said it was crank sensor so i replaced it then he said it was idle control valve so i replaced it. he has cost me a fortume and still no luck if theres any one who knows i would be greatfull the guy i brought it of said it was possible ecu.i hope not because i dont think that would be cheap .thanks mark

Hi Mark,

Did the Check engine light show?

Your description of the fault is more likely to be the spark plugs, cables or ignition coil.
