fan wont stop running

Hi, the fan on my audi a3 1.6 04 plate radiator wont stop running (small fan not the large one). Ive had to disconnect the battery when im home as i cant find the fuse relating to the fan (its not where it says it is the the book), ive been told that it might be the control switch that needs replaced?, can you help?, thanks in advance

I would look first at the relay for the fan. I may have welded itself together. I would pull the relay out and see if you have another relay that is identical to that one and swap it in and see if the fan starts working correctly. If it does then you just need to buy a new relay and install it.
