1993 Audi 90 door locks

Hey, on the drivers side door i can lock the car from the outside, but i can't unlock the car. i just can't figure what it could be, so i always have to unlock the passenger side to get in.

the barrel is faulty and needs replacing ... you could alway's swap the passenger lock to the drivers side ?
