keep the good work flowing.
I HAVE PROBLEM WITH MY AUDI 90 2300CC NG ENGINE 1991 YEAR 5 CLYDER.
MY CAR IS NOT TICKING WHEN COLD AND ITS LOW IN POWER AND ROUGH RUNNING ON FUEL AND ITS LACK OF POWER?
I HAD IT SERVICED AND I HAD NEW LEADS, NEW OIL PRESSURE SENSOR, NEW WATER TEMPRETURE SENOR?
BUT THE LIFTERS ARE NOT TICKING?AND THE MACHANIC NO UNDERSTAND WHY THE LIFTERS NOT TICKING?HE SAYS ITS PROBLEM SOME WERE BUT DO'SNT NO WERE THE PROBLEM IS SITTING?
PLEASE CAN U HELP ME THE PROBLEM, I WILL BE VERY THANKFUL.

Your problem could be one of the following:

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires
