My Audi 100 radiator fan will not go off even when it is turned off. I am extremely concerned about this as it has already stranded me once yesterday and I had to buy a new battery for 200 installed. Today I had to get a jump on a brand new battery. Does anyone have an idea as what could be the problem?

seems as though either the radiator fan relay has failed or the fan motor itself has a short in it and needs replaced. i would suggest starting with the relay..
