Antifreeze leak

I noticed that coolant was coming out by the bell housing area. Are there any freeze plugs in that area?

Yes there are some between the engine and the transmission inside of the bell housing area. The transmission will need to be removed here is a guide that will give you an idea of what you are in for but yours will have a transfer case as well.
