First problem was while idle I saw steam coming from engine. I opened the hood and I noticed that the bottom hose that is connected to the engine now has 2 small holes that antifreeze leaks out car was very hot, but my gauge read normal. I took it to the show they replaced the hose. A few days later at the bust stop idled I heard pop noise then saw steam again. This time it was kind of in the area where the top hose connects to the radiator. The temperature was normal, but the engine was hot you could hear a boiling sound and a hissing sound like air. Can someone help?

Good afternoon.

I would start by replacing the radiator cap. That is what controls the pressure build-up.

As far as the hoses, have all of them checked to see if any others are about to leak as well.

The cap could be the root cause of the failure.

Possibility a thermostat but it would run hot if that was bad.

I think that's exactly what it is. It is very hot but the temperature would read normal I could hear the boiling sound on the passenger side when I turn the car off and I haven't heard the fans come on.

Okay, replace the thermostat and the cap and retest and see if it still does the same thing.
