Hi LongLeanLady1,

Let me know how I can assist with this. If you are just looking how to find it, the best way to find an external leak is to pressurize the system and then start looking for where the coolant is coming out.

Below are some guides that will help with this.

If you are just noticing the coolant drop slowly then you will need to identify if there is an external leak or if the engine is burning the coolant. If it is the engine then this could be a head gasket issue.

Let me know if you need more information or give me the detail on what you have. Thanks

Hello, I'm Danny.

Just a question first. Have you noticed any leaks externally like puddles on the ground or under the car where you park? Or is the coolant just disappearing? Get back to me soon and I will help diagnose the problem. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

If it is a clear liquid with no antifreeze then if it is there after the car was running it is most likely condensation from the AC system. If coolant is not dropping in the bottle then I would just keep an eye on the level and see if it drops. If not I would not worry about the clear liquid.
