I went and got a new key, and you still can't do it. you can't move the gear shift and you can't push the brakes. help me.

Anti-theft system when you put the key in you cannot turn it backward or forwards?

It sounds like the ignition lock tumbler has come apart internally. Here is how to change it out. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
