Okay, the ignition is on the dash not the column. I am replacing the ignition lock tumbler and I broke the anti theft module so too. So do I need to go have it program by a locksmith now or can I do it myself?

When you say the theft module, are you talking about the deterrent exciter module that is shown in the picture below? If so, I also attached the programming of the system and this is not listed as it is just a transmitter that the BCM energizes and does not require programming. Let me know if you are talking about something different. Thanks.

This is the part I am talking about it plugs into the ignition switch and the round end goes around the lock tumbler from all I have read about it is reads the key its a phase III key i. The round part is what I broke and it has fine copper wires that goes to the part that plugs into the ignition switch its a sensor I believe.

Okay. Yes. This is the part that I mentioned and it does not appear to require programming.
