Anti theft lock

Key will turn on battery but not crank car. Keeps giving the car lock symbol. Key will occasionally crank the car but it’s a hit or miss if it gets locked up again. Recently drivers side window fell into the doorframe. This is a new issue we are experiencing

I have a couple questions below:

Do you have a second key to test with as the transponder chip could be failing in the one you have now.


Another is how old is the battery in the vehicle and is it showing at least 13 volts? A drop in voltage confuses the immobilizer system, causing it to trigger the lock icon and block ignition

And last question for right now is Do you have someone that can run a full system Scan to see if there are any codes in the system that will better assist us in helping you determine what could be wrong, not just a basic code reader.
