Unlocked the door by using the thumb switch on the interior through the window with the door closed. Anti theft engaged, horns and lights. Stuck key in driver door, which was still closed, opened the car, and although the horns and lights were deactivated as normal, the car will not start, hasn't since. Been five days now.

I had the same problem, the anti theft module had gone bad, customer didn't want to buy a new one, so I had to run a ground wire from the module to bypass it. car started right away. it was preventing power from going to computer. Car would crank but not start. They can be a real pain sometimes. Find a wiring diagram of that system, power is probably just sitting at module not going threw.

Try rolling the the windows up and lock all of the doors, let the car sit for a couple of hours, then unlock the drivers side door using the key, this should disarm the system and the car should start, please let us know what happens so it will help others.
