I don’t have the fob I only have the key. I tried leaving it in the on position for thirty minutes, I disconnected the battery, I turned the key for thirty seconds in driver door. Nothing has worked. What would my next step be?

Hi,

To reset the smart key requires a scan tool which can communicate with the vehicle. I have the procedure if you want to take a look through it. It will be explained in the pics below step by step.

This guide can help as well

This procedure is basically used when the original keys are lost. If you are in lock down mode, it really needs checked to confirm you can just reset it and it isn't something different causing the problem. Regardless, take a look through the pics to see what is required.

Let me know if this answers your question.

Take care,
Joe
