Hi,

I was not aware that the best time to treat your car for antirust is during warm weather. The garage where I will get my antirust done says that their drying and de-icing method will allow the treatment to be effective for the winter season. What is your unbiased opinion?

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

I am not 100% sure what they mean when they say that. I can tell you, the areas being protected must be clean and dry; otherwise, the protectant will not adhere. Can you ask them to better explain what they mean by drying and deicing method actually means?

Let me know. Also, this process will be done inside at room temperature, so outside temperature should not matter.

Take care,
Joe
