Anti pollution problem message

Anti pollution message appeared on dash and black smoke from exhaust pipe.

Hello,

Black smoke usually indicates that there is too much fuel being burnt in your engine's combustion chambers. here are a few possible causes for this rich condition, leaking fuel injectors, a bad fuel pressure regulator, shorted to power fuel pump that is being over driven, etc..
