Ambient light temp issue?

Car is rough and both fender liners as well as the plastic under the engine were brooen. The ambient temp sensor harness was just dragging so i bought a new sensor and harness. Installed and still blinking on dash. No power or ground to the wires. Do these have a fuse somewhere that you can locate and do they share the circuit with something else?

I would recheck your work, no the ambient temperature sensor does not have a its own power, it shares a circuit with other sensors and goes directly to the HVAC control module , here is the wiring diagrams so you can check it out with a guide to help you with the testing.

Weird. I checked it twice and followed thew wires back to where it splits, no damage at all anywhere. HVAC systems full functional. So no fuse to this circuit?

Nope, no fuse for the sensor, now if the HVAC system is shut down then a fuse would be an issue.
