My battery light and engine light does not go on. Every time I switch on ignition am2 fuse blows. Everything works, lights, indicators, reverse lights, brakes. I drove thirteen km when I tried to start again no battery or engine light.

Hello,

Do you mean the AM1 fuse? Because I do not see an AM2 fuse in the car? If this is correct the AM1 fuse powers the ignition switch which sounds like it has shorted out internally. Below is a wiring diagram so you can follow the flow.

You might want to unplug the switch and supply power down each leg to see what happens.

Check out the diagrams (below).

Please run this test and get back to us.

Cheers, Ken
