Radio is hung up in cassette mode nothing appears to be jammed inside will not accept cassette goes in about 3/4 of way clock runs but I cannot change it. When I push the eject it goes through the motion but then goes right back to play like there is still a cassette in it. AM/FM cassette radio with infinity.
Any ideas?

Hello,

Sometimes coins get put into the unit, I would remove it and take it apart, you have nothing to loose. Here is how in the instructions and diagrams below.

1. Remove top cover by pry from one end to the other, then the cluster bezel grille by pulling one end up with 1/16 inch wire hook.
2. Remove six hood and message center mounting screws.
3. Pry one end of module, then remove and disconnect.
4. Starting in lower right corner, reach behind bezel and pull and disconnect clips, then remove bezel.
5. Disconnect ash tray wire and lamp, then remove cigar lighter.
6. Remove two screws and pull radio back, then from behind disconnect wiring harnesses and ground cable.
7. Reverse procedure to install.

Please let us know what happens.

Thanks Ken.
Will try and let you know what happens. Have added a photo of my dash. This is a mobility van that's what the yellow switch is for.

Yes it is a 1995. I have the radio out, there was nothing loose inside, should I be able to get a voltage reading on the connector when I put the key in either Acc. Or run mode? I found the wiring diagrams you posted but when I put the meter on either the pink or red/white and ground. With the key in position I don't get a reading.

I tried this morning and with the proper ground there is 12 volts on both wires. I no nothing about radios is it possible to replace this with something a little newer without spending a fortune or doing a major over-hall of the wiring? I don't need anything fancy just an Am/Fm CD it would be nice to have Bluetooth also but not a must. This has Dolby sound system. Unfortunately the sticker that would have the original part number has been removed.
