My vehicle listed above is acting like it isn't charging properly. A friend told me that a wire is known to come loose when you drive on gravel roads, which I do a lot. I hit a bump a few days back and it started acting up so I'm thinking it's the wire, but I don't know where to look for the wire.

Hi,

I'm not familiar with any coming loose. Is the battery light staying on or is the battery failing? If it is, perform this simple test to determine if the alternator is working. All you will need is a voltmeter or multimeter.

I will be happy to get the wiring schematic for you, but I need to know if this has a 2.2L or a 2.4L engine. Let me know so we can try to determine which wire the person may be referring to.

Take care,

Joe
