Alternator location, removal and insulation instructions needed

Don't exactly know where the alternator is on the car listed above LX this is something different.

Hi,

As far as the alternator is concerned, it is located toward the bottom front of the engine. See pic 4

Pics one through three are the directions for the removal and replacement of the alternator. Make sure before you start the procedure to disconnect the battery.

Dale,

You should be able to access it from under the vehicle. If there is a plastic splash shield, remove that and see if you then have access.

If that doesn't help, take a few pics and upload them for me to see. Hopefully, I will be able to direct you. However, if I remember correctly, it comes out through the bottom.
