Alternator swap?

Need to know if a BMW x1 2011 sdrive e84 n47 can take a 115/180a alternator.

Yes, the N47 engine in the 2011 X1 E84 can use alternators rated from 115A to 180A. I would make sure the electrical connector and mounting bolts are the same before installation. Let us know if you need anything else.

Is the electrical part the thing at the back of the alternator like this photo.
