I have replaced my vans alternator just went again for the second time in seven months. I will be replacing it again this week and was wondering why this keeps happening and if there is anything I can do to stop it from happening? It makes me believe that there is a wiring issue but i don't know which wire would be the issue. Can you please give me some ideas?

are you sure you put the correct alt on this??? it has 2 different amp readings and if you used the lowest, it will burn out.

assuming you have warranty on this as it is under a year, see if you can upgrade
