I just had the alternator replaced and my car starts, but it will not pick up speed. Is it possible they put the wrong alternator in? I have a 230C Kompressor. Would the alternator be the same for a 230C and a 230C Compressor? Thank you. I need help, cannot drive my car.

No, it sounds more like they forgot to connect something in the intake portion of the car. I would lift the hood and look at all intake and inner cooler tubing. Also, lets run the codes to see what comes up.

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

They told me the reason the car was not picking up speed is because it is not shifting properly, and if I shift it myself it will run okay. I am still afraid to drive it. Does this all make sense to you?

We need to see what codes or in the car to point us in the right direction. Can you scan for codes or know someone that can? You can get a codes reader from Amazon for $25.00
