Never heard of "fixing" or "servicing" a cat. Before, just either replacing or removing it.?

It's the real deal.

Some of the new over the road trucks are programed to shut down at 100,000 miles if the service has not been preformed. (It doesn't matter if it is working or not.)

Does it actually help? It's too new of a procedure for me to form an opinion. It may just be snake oil.

But is there really a "clean your cat" snake oil?

Have heard of that for the trucks. This is an Acura. Not sure they make anything that would qualify as HD.

Lol Well Mr. Prince its a new thing that when a given mileage comes it has to go whether its still good or what-dunno about a catalytic converter servicing what using a scrub brush thru it to lengthen the life span on it lol never went in depth to it-I've read it from one of my auto school book Mcgraw/Hill back in the 80's-Sorry I cannot go further than this Its a very interesting subject though
