Is it possible to install a remote starter on a diesel engine? If so, how does it work with the glow plugs before starting the engine?

remote starters are all wired in to application meaning that whoever wires it in will have to go through the wiring diagram for that vehicle and find the appropriate wires to connect it to but i dont see why it would not be possible to put remote start on a deisel the glow plugs are actuated by a relay (low current) not by a solid hot wire connection that goes directly to them so i dont know how that would keep the vehicle from running they are timed through the computer (depending on model) and shut off when they are needed to shut off
