Ive got a new 2007 Acura RDX and am wondering if this is a normal noise. I come to a stop sign or stop light and brake. When I release the brake to go I hear a "noise" just for a second. Is this just the brake pads sticking to the rotors? Is it normal? I have no other noise when using the brakes. Thanks.
Johnny

That is what it sounds like, being a 2007 there could be a little build up on the rotors. When you have the car serviced bring it up to the mechanic or you can take it to them now if you feel uncomfortable with the way it sounds.

Hi Johnny, I guess that's normal.I also have encountered that for several months but the car is still okay. If you want more assurance, I suggest to ask some expert.

Where does the noise come from? I would still go to the dealer and ask about it. It may be normal for a acura to make the noise. With not knowing what kind of sound it is making. It could be a number of things.
