Hi guys,

I suspect the master cylinder is frozen and could be due to the brake fluids. I do not have winter conditions here so do not know if the brake fluids used have anti freeze properties. If yes, could it be wrong type used?

Anybody able to throw some light on this?

do to brake fluids glycol base it doesn't freeze at thoes temps. So must have moisture in system but you would think that would have gotten flushed out.only thing I can think might have happened is when master was replaced fluid was used that had been open long time and waqs contaminated. Suggest flush out entire brake system with new fluid. What you think?

I've got this feeling that it has nothing to do with the master cylinder or the hydraulics at all.

I think something in the booster is freezing.

Even with no vacuum, you would still be able to step on the pedal enough to get out of park.
