99 windstar transmission 125k miles

i replaced the transmission, and now the OD light keeps flashing.... reverse lights dont work... cruise control dont work and lastly it doesn't go pass 3rd gear.... or thats what i assume caze im doing 60mph and the rpm is at 3000+

so, someone told me the Solenoid in the transmission may be bad...

now, is that something i can get at an auto store? if so, where on the transmission is it located and how do i replace it?

The flashing OD light is telling you there's a problem in the trans, you need to take it to a LOCALLY-owned RELIABLE trans shop where they can pull the code or codes, do not spend money just replacing stuff, other then the fact there's more then one solenoid in there..

r u 100% positive the problem is "IN" the transmission????
