I have a 1998 Contour SVT. I purchased 4 tires had them all mounted and balanced and installed. Shortly afterwards, the rear tires seemed to go out of balance. Had the tires re-balanced and the same problem came back. The rear tires are wearing faster then the front tires
.
I had a 4 wheel alignment about 2 yrs ago. No accidents or anything like that.

Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help!

I forgot to mention I already had the tires rotated and the same problem occurred with the tires that had been rotated from the front to the back.

Your contour has alignment adjustments for the rear wheels they are probably out of spec. Have it aligned at a good shop some shops people dont know what there doing.

Ah ok. I didnt know you could do a rear wheel alignment on a front wheel drive car.
I asked around and Im taking the car to the place that was most recommended in my town. I will post the results.
