My Dads 97 S10 pickup, blew out the rear brake line that runs along the frame. The problem is since I replaced the line the rear brakes dont work fully, and soft pedal. I Tried bleeding the rear brakes several times, but the fliud just trickles out. The Dash Brake light wont go out. I also tried bleeding the Master Cylinder, even though im pretty sure it didnt go dry.

A friend thought it would be have to taken to the dealer as they have a place vaccum pump bleeding thing for the ABS system, and the light is on cause there is air in it.

If that is the problem, is there a way to do this our selfs as money is tight right now. I dont see any bleeders on the ABS controller itself.

Please Help me ?

When you bleed the brakes the correct way to do it is RearRight, RearLeft, FrontRight, FrontLeft with the car off brake fluid cap off and filled with fluid and the tire off get someone to pump the brakes 4X slowly and hold it on the last one, then you open the bleeder valve and close it before the pedal hits the floor so you dont damage any seals. Once it is closed have driver let up on the pedal slowly and do this 3-4 times per wheel. Top off the fluid each time you finish each wheel. Is that the process your using? Lemme know good luck :)
