My 94 explorer was driving fine and then started to make a ratttling noise under the hood, after that it began to loose compression and would barely pull. It would not run aver 45 miles per hour and when I pulled over there was white smoke coming from the tail pipe and from the water overflow. How can I fix this or can I?

That white smoke you see is a good indicator that you have a blown head gasket. What happens is the coolant is getting into the combustion chamber and blowing it out of the exhaust, and the exhaust is getting into the coolant system causing it to blow out of the overflow tank. You can remove one spark plug at a time to see which one has or smells like antifreeze, to determine which head gasket is blown.
