My 92 Explorer began 'jerking' as though I was about to run out of gas (full tank) between 45-60 mph in Overdrive... then started doing it all the time. I replaced fuel filter, added injector cleaner (twice), checked spark plugs and wires. Someone suggested it might be the transmission not being able to shift. Or could it be the fuel pump? Or something else? It seems to run ok in Neutral though. Please any suggestions?

Actually, I figured out what the problem was: the spark plug wires were shot even though they were fairly new!
