I have an early 70's sb 350 and the specs for it call for the head bolts to torque at 60-70 ft.-lbs. Are these stock heads you are putting back on? Would be interested in what you are putting together as I am slowly building mine up, too.So far have been pretty stock going with an Weiand intake, holley carb, headers and just recently put a cam and lifters in from Summitt, next would be some head work, I believe. Good luck.

well im outting 202 heads on it and i was gonna get some nice dome pistons but i did the math and theyd hit the top so i decided to go with the flat top pistons. and it turns out the engine i have is a 327 1970 corvet engine lol. i found this engine at an old ladys house and she wanted to get rid of it so i tore it apart and check the serial numers and it was a 327 so its gonna be way fun to build.
