Losing water after travelling 80 miles water coolant is full and after 80 miles it is below minimum. Garage cannot findfault.

If coolant is depleting, there must be a leak somewhere.
A pressure test for the cooling system should be able to determine where the leaking is coming from. If coolant is used, there should be signs of coolant at points of leakages.
If the engine compartment does not show any signs of leakages, check the heater core.
