I had my oil changed in my 2006 scion xa two weeks ago at a local service station. The maintenance required light came on today.I called a dealer and told him what I did.He said there is a sequence in changing the oil and filter to reset light. Can it be done someway be me or is it a dealer task only?

open your owners manual it should be in there. you definately dont have to go to dealer. if you cant find it in your service manual go back to your service station. im positive he will reset it for you. if you bring the car in when the light is not on, we usually forget to reset it. it was just over looked. innocent mistake.
