2005 Questions for all other cars 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a John Deere Utility Vehicle, HPX Gator. How do I know if Ignitions switch is bad or if the starter motor is bad?

Hi there,

With a jumper wire, short out the small starter solenoid wire, if the starter works normally the switch may be at fault, try this first.
