Engine Performance problem
2004 Questions for all other cars 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Whenever I start my Car, the engine stalls/ does not respond to accelerator for about a min...the situation is even worse on A/C...it takes about 2 mins.. to get the engine back to normal...once it is over...the whole drive is fine...One more thing..while going up the gears the car jerks a little ...i.e. engine looses power for about 2 secs and the responds back...mileage has also degraded...I drive Maruti Suzuki Vehicle - ZEN (India) which is 1000cc... pls help

check fuel pressure and add a good fuel cleaner to the tank ot clean fuel lines and injectors !!
