I've got a '53' 2.0 ltr peugeot 206 cc, get quite a bit of white smoke when the car starts up carries on for about 5 mins then dissappears when the car has been running for a while, however if the car is stationary for a while with the engine running the smoke comes back.

Hi there,

I would be checking for coolant loss, as white smoke can be engine coolant entering the combustion chamber.
