I was sport shifting with traction control ON and my wheels were spinning. I was never able to shift gears. After driving about 2 blocks in 1st gear I turned the car off. I got an error on my screen saying to visit shop. Then I could not start the car. Also my trans will not let me shift gears or put the car in neutral. A mechanic friend said it could be my gear shifter. Any advice on this?
