2003 Aviator Stalls

it very well could be , is your guy hi tech , have a good scanner to check driveabilty issues , the iac can be monitored on a good scanner , this would take the guess work out of it , if not the dealer has the right stuff and all of the information needed to diagnose or flowchart the system, i guess what im saying is if you have doubts and dont want part after part replaced and still no fix go see your local dealer it may be cheaper in the long run

i agree with chevy 2 that factory scanner is a sure thing..but disagree with informations and question the superiority against independent shops..a few years ago congress pass the right to repair act ...all manufacture info(website) and equipments must make available to public(independent shop) ..we've got master tech(toyota & honda) scanner also consult( nissan) ..plus a few other shops around ..we pretty much cover all scanners on 90 %of the cars out there....we also have snap on modis,OTC genysis and auto engunity...except for some factory bay test such as evap and some very rarely use bi directional functions ..i pretty much do most my diagnostic verification on my modis and genisys ..as far as info concern ..all internet manufacture website are open for public for pay subscriptions just as the dealership..i think structurally dealership won't pay the time for diagnostic and i know for sure as a fact...even most nissan dealers here in houston sent us their headaches ...my opinion..it is a myth.in ur case..a good ASE driveability & performance L1 tech with proper training,experience and info..should have no problems fixing ur car...good luck man
